A sad goodbye to our beach side camp out this morning. Time to hit the big smoke before our ferry to Sicily on Saturday. However before we can park up we needed to do a full service changeover.
So first to the laundrette at the marina, where luckily we were also able to get breakfast as the fridge is bare. This turned out to be a extra spring clean after me finding out that “Change” on the laundrette token machine actually means only tokens with a €20 note after I had already done 2 loads of washing 😳🫣 So the dogs were traumatised by having to have their beds washed as well in the dedicated animal wash machines 😂 Thankfully some else came along to do some washing and we were able to sell on the rest of the tokens before I had to start stripping down anything else to wash!
Next LPG, on the second attempt as the first was no longer operational. Then an age at the supermarket trying to find everything we need and getting distracted by the many exciting new things, a whole isle of fresh pasta for example. We finally got to our parking spot with full services about 3pm and needed to fill water tanks empty black etc. This time we have opted for a guarded parking 10 mins walk from the old town for peace of mind. We are also close to the port for our departure on Saturday. By the way the weather forecast looks awful for Saturday 😰🫣, 50 mph winds, though they are following. Hopefully we will still be sailing, we have had some great timing for ferries, we have had three glorious sunny days before it.

So tonight we are out on the town in Cagliari😁🥂🍾 Thirsty Thursday 😂😉
