The day started grey and wet again. We waited for a break in the showers to take the dogs to the beach. We managed to get to the end of the boardwalk and Lola had found herself a lovely stick and it started to hammer down so we had to retreat back rapidly. So the morning turned into admin and route planning waiting for the rain to pass through.

In the afternoon the sun finally started to show itself between the clouds and we decided to walk round to Sanxenxo, having only made it to Portonovo yesterday. It was a nice 2 mile walk along the coast looking over the lovely beaches and marinas, following the long boardwalk. As in a lot of Spain, there was some interesting sculptures.

We decided to enjoy a leisurely lunch overlooking the beach and fortunately managed to have the best lunch on our trip so far at Tri Ton restaurant. I have valiantly attempted to remain plant based, having chosen that for health reasons. However after 2 weeks of salad and chips being the only option, I relented to join Kevin for some seafood. We enjoyed mussels, Scallops and Seabass which was fabulous.

A steady walk home via a bakery for some bread for breakfast and we managed to get Harlequins v Leicester Tigers game on via the site wifi. A cracking day šš„³

For the perfect end to the day, a run on the beach with the girls
